GB7BD is a wide split 70cm repeater but is unusual in the frequencies and split, for a DMR repeater! The reason for this, is that it is co-sited with an FM wide split repeater. As the standard shift and split for a DMR repeater would have made it impossible for it to share the site with the FM repeater, the ETCC have kindly allocated a free channel in the 7.6MHz split part of the 70cm band.​
